Welcome to Class 4Sa

We had a play called out of this world and it was about aliens because we were doing about space .There were aliens called choopies and Summer Doyley was playing oshla and Chloe White was playing looli and there were also aliens called geekiods one of them were called suskar and she was played by Jazmyn Gibbs.

First we have been learning about space.We know that the moon orbits the Earth and the Earth orbits the Sun at the same time.

Also we are doing a play about space. The characters are geekoids as the badies.And the choopies are the nice aliens. Also the Earth space ship crew as the goodies.

Did you know that pluto isn’t a planet  anymore because it is to small,it is even smaller than the moon.

A thearte company came to William Bacroft Junior School.Everyone liked it they did a workshop then they did the play of Jungle book .All our topic is about it.We have been describing about the animals in Jungle book to write a poem.

In maths we did problems about animals in Jungle book.The problems involved monkeys, tigers  and bears .

In p.e we did movements and balances of animals in Jungle book.

In art we are going to create some Jungle book images based on the artist Warhol.

It is a good week so far!

This term we have been lerning about Tudors and also we  have been making Tudor houses.

Also we know lots of the kings and queens the queens there are Cathrine of Aragon Anne Bolyen  Jane seymour  Anne of Cleves Cathrine Howerd  and  Cathrine Parr.

today in year 4 we are finishing our tudor houses our teacher will help us so we might finish it is so cool so we will have a good time when we finish it because we could take it and show our  teacher .

In 4sa we have been doing about tudor homes so we made a tudor house we are on to paniting.  And in trumpets we have leant three new notes a minim and crotchit semebreve

yeesterday we did spelling attack  and  did maths at the end of the day we trumpeps.

In topic we have been learning about the tudor times.We lernd about Henry the VIII and his six wifes they are called Catherine of Aragon ,Anne Boleyn ,Jane seymour, Anne of Cleeves, Catherin Howard and Catherin Parr.

We have been learning about paragraphs in corskills.

In bottem set maths we are learnd about lenths of  liquid.

In top set maths we are learning about adding  and subtracting sums using a number line. We also was learning about Thousens hundreds tens , units,desimals,hundreths and tenths.

We   have this new topic called  spelling atack it started at the start of this term.

We also have a topic called comprehention.
